2025 APDC International Design Awards Gala had been successfully held in Shanghai China
Designers from over 50 countries jointly promoted global design collaboration and industrial upgrading
From March 31st to April 2nd, the 2025 APDC International Design Awards Gala was successfully held! The APDC Asia-Pacific Design Center, in collaboration with the APSDA Asia-Pacific Space Designers Association, the Shanghai Hotel & Shop Plus Expo, the PI Design Awards, and the LIV Hospitality Design Awards, jointly hosted the annual design gala and high-level forums, with the participant of more than 500 designers from around the world. The Gala events focused on sustainable development and global talent discovery, received strong support from brands such as ICC Interceramic, TASSANI - the Italian Art Paint, and Italian GRF Built-in Refrigerators, German JUNG Intelligence, and JIANGSU PIVOT ISOUND Acoustics.

APSDA Mainland Representative Authorization Ceremony
After a video conference jointly confirmed by the official interior design associations of Australia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand, and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan China, the APDC Asia-Pacific Design Center was officially authorized as the representative of the APSDA Asia-Pacific Space Designers Association in Mainland China at the SOHO in Shanghai Bund. This marked an important step in the internationalization of Chinese design.

2025 Design Globalization Exchange
More than 50 designers from Brazil, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam, Nepal, Mainland China, and Hong Kong China gathered at the Environment Institute of Huajian Group in Shanghai. Representatives from the APDC Asia-Pacific Design Center, the APSDA Asia-Pacific Space Designers Association, and the IID-ASC Institute of Interior Design of the Architectural Society of China discussed and exchanged views on the theme of "Digitalization + Green and Low-Carbon." Shen Lidong, Deputy Chairman of the Architectural Society of China and Deputy Secretary-General and President of Huajian Group, proposed three core topics: how artificial intelligence can empower interior design, how green and low-carbon technologies can be integrated throughout the life cycle of a space, and how to establish a new paradigm for global design collaboration amidst cultural diversity. President of APSDA - Keat Ong put forward three key issues: technology empowerment, cultural integration, and low-carbon design. Ms. Lynn Wang, as the Secretary-General of the APDC Overseas Affairs Department, introduced the background of the APDC Asia-Pacific Design Center in both Chinese and English, coordinated and translated the speeches of Professor Patrick Fong, Chairman of the APDC Asia-Pacific Design Awards for Elite Review Committee, and Ms. Claudya Piazera, founder of the Brazil Design Center. APDC Asia-Pacific Design Center had successfully built a bridge of friendship and design excellence.

APDC Lifestyle Summit at E6 Hall, Shanghai New International Expo Center
The summit featured speeches on topics such as "Japanese Renovation Design and Lifestyle," "Cozy Community Architecture," "French: Innate Elegance," and "Defining Lifestyle." The speakers and panelists also explored themes like the integration of design and lifestyle, sustainable development and green design, cultural interaction with design, technological innovation and future design, urban and community design, the combination of commerce and design, and the relationship between color and design.

The PI Design Awards Ceremony in Asia-Pacific region was held at the Shanghai Pudong Kerry Hotel.
The PI Design Awards, with its mission to promote the development of architecture and interior design, is an influential annual design event. The Asia-Pacific region ceremony received strong support from the Consulate General of Mexico in Shanghai, aiming to recognize outstanding Chinese designers who strive for excellence on the global stage. Mr. Miguel Angel Isidro, the Mexican Consul General in Shanghai, and Professor Patrick Fong, among other guests, presented certificates of honor incorporating Mexican silver craftsmanship to the Chinese designers.
Before the ceremony concluded, Humberto Valles, the representative in Asia-Pacific region of the PI Design Awards , announced the launch of the 2025 edition of the award. Finally, the Mexican Consul General, on behalf of the PI Design Awards organizing committee, presented letters of thanks to the institutions and organizations for their contributions to promoting international design and cultural exchanges.
