APDC AWARDS "Sustainable･Comfortable Space -2011 Asia Pacific Design Awards for Elite" was hold in Wuxi Museum on 25th November 2011. Participants from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai, Italy, France, Holland, Denmark, Canada, China Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, other countries and regions of the award-winning designers, domestic and overseas guests and design experts gathered in Wuxi city landmark building Wuxi Museum, witness the glorious moment of Asia Pacific Interior design industry.

This year Awards has been strong supported by Wuxi Municipal People's Government, guests' lineup unprecedented powerful. In addition to the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers ( IFI ) rotating president, APDC Asia Pacific Design Center chairman Mr. Claude Bérubé led the international design authority delegation, "UNESCO City of design city" France Saint-Etienne, Germany Berlin and China, Shanghai, Macao and Hangzhou all sent their City representatives present the awards. When the mayor of Wuxi Municipal People's Government Mr. Zhu Kejiang presented the highest award "APDC Sustainable Design Award" to the Malaysian designer Dr Tan Loke Mun by his own hands, The awards ceremony atmosphere reached its climax.

2011 APDC AWARDS use "comfortable space - a low-carbon life" as the theme, aim to through designers for space scientific design and building and furnishing materials rational application, integrate interior energy-saving advanced experience and methods from different countries and regions, research effective way of interior energy-saving and emission reduction, to awake public awareness of environmental protection, protection of global environment, creating more comfortable, energy saving, environmental protection, sustainable living space, which reflects designers' value and remarkable achievements in this extraordinary significant.
