On June 24^th 2011, the “Sustainable – Comfortable Space - 2011 Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards for Elite” press conference and some related activities such as “Contemporary artists original environmental protection art works Invitational Exhibition” and “2011 sustainable forum for designers (Shanghai)” were held in Shanghai Exhibition Center. At the same time and same place, “ 2011 Shanghai International Landscape Architecture and Planning and Design Exhibition” was jointly held by Awards host Asia-Pacific Design Center.

As a guest speaker, Mr. Chenshuo, representative for British Standard of Building Energy Consumption, master in Cambridge University, the curator of Zero Carbon Pavilion in Expo 2010 and president of Zero Carbon Center, made a wonderful speech with the theme of “the low-carbon city solution for climate change”. And he made an interactive discussion with the present developers, Media professionals, architects and representatives for building material manufacturers on the theme of Energy saving and emission reduction. The whole activity was fascinating and made a deep impression on those presents.
