APDC (Asia Pacific Design Center) International Designers Club is
located in Former Cosmopolitan Apartment complex on West Nan
Jing Road, the busiest district in Shanghai. Next to Shanghai JC
Mandarin, Shanghai Centre, Hang Long Plaza, CITIC Square,
Westgate Tower and Shanghai Exhibition Center.
Former Cosmopolitan Apartments, built in 1934 with investment from
Tan Ganchen and designed by Lee Poy G, is one of the few apartments
designed by Chinese architects on their own in Old Shanghai, is featured
in its architectural form and detail imitating the Spanish building style,
and considered as a typical work of the transactional period form
eclecticism to modern architectural style. Li Jianwu, Jin Shan, Zhang Ruifang,
Wang Danfeng, Yu Zhenfei and other literature and art celebrities have lived
in this apartment.
Walk into Former Cosmopolitan Apartment, although just one step
away to the city hustle and bustle, however it is so quiet here.
There are simple paths in front of the club building. Cold winter

APDC (Asia Pacific Design Center) International Designers Club will be
established officially. The Club has small reception area, meeting area,
open office area, wine area, works on display as well. The club will be
held regularly dozens of native and oversea design elite exchange and
theme seminars. The Club not only to promote membership by web,
event, magazine and professional media, but also providing physical
business services to the native and oversea designers who want to
