APDC AWARDS Asia Pacific Interior Awards for Elite Jury President Mr. Claude Bérubé was invited by China National Interior Decoration Association, Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations, UNESCO “Creative City” (Shanghai) Promote Office, attended the 2012 Shanghai International Interior Design Festival opening ceremony on April 9th. Mr. Claude Bérubé had been the president of Canadian Interior Design Association, IFI rotating president. He currently is APDC president. APDC is also one of the invited co-organizer for two years Shanghai International Design Festival.

Shanghai has been officially accepted into Creative Cities Network endorsed by UNESCO and nominated as UNESCO City of Design in 2010. In order to leverage creative economy in Shanghai, Shanghai International Interior Design Festival, coorganized by Shanghai Municipal Government, China Interior Decoration Association, and UNESCO City of Design Shanghai Office, has been initiated since 2010.
