China - Iran cultural and artistic exchanges was grand hold on May 27th in Wuxi Chong An, Hua Xia Furnishing Center, it was joint planned and organized by Asia-Pacific Design Center / Asia Pacific Federation of Interior Designers, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Wuxi Municipal People's Government. The president of Asia Pacific Design Center / Asia Pacific Federation of Interior Designers, Commercial counselor of Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in China, Wuxi City Chong'an’s  Mayor attended the exchanges session and delivered speech.

On the exchange site, Iran representative introduced their famous hand-work of art - Persian handmade carpets. According to reports, Iran handmade carpets is an international reputation since ancient times, with its good texture, elegant design and exquisite craftsmanship, get the worlds' favorite. According to the research, the history of waving and the production at least been 2500 years. More than 60 enterprises in Wuxi City and more than 60 designers talked to Iran representative. And visited Iran Persian handmade carpets International Exhibition organized by the Asia-Pacific Design Center / Asia Pacific Federation of Interior Designers and the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in China in Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center.
