The aim was to create a structure that was not only a comfortable place to spend time and enhance the routine of boarding the boat, but also to create a beautiful structure that is a delight to come upon every time one is out on the lake.The dock’s design is derived from careful calibration of shade, breezes, and views, while it’s expressive material and formal qualities amplify the experience of both inhabiting and viewing the structure.
